All fees and rebates are consistent current Government, Medicare and Australian Psychological Society Guidelines. Please check with us as fees vary based on a number of factors such as session duration, whether the sessions are individual or couple, and so on.
Medicare Rebates
You may be able to claim a rebate for your consultation, up to a maximum of 10 sessions per calendar year. To receive this rebate you must be referred by a General Practitioner under the Better Access to Mental Health Care Programme (GP Item 2710). Alternatively you can be referred directly by a Psychiatrist.
Health Fund Rebates
Our team are registered providers with the major health funds that cover Clinical Psychology, including MBF, Medibank Private, AXA and Grand United. Some funds that cover psychology include:

Please also note that you cannot claim from Medicare and your health fund for the same consultation.
Cancellation Fees
When we make an appointment for you, we make a commitment to hold that space for you until the time arrives. This means that other people cannot book that time as it is yours. Similarly, we ask that you do your very best to make the appointment. If you are unable to attend please give us as much notice as possible as it allows us the best opportunity to find someone else to take that appointment. If we cannot find someone the practice still incurs all the costs of providing the appointment, and the psychologist is able to get paid for the time.
It is very difficult for us to fill appointments at short notice and so we charge a cancelation fee as a result. These are:
- Full fee for appointments cancelled by you with less than 24 hour’s notice
- 50% for appointments cancelled by you with 24-48 hour’s notice.
